Presented by Beach Burrito Civic and Sancho’s Dirty Laundry, with kind support from Pistonhead Lager and Apple Thief Cider, we are absolutely beaming to finally announce the launch of Lobrow Gallery and Bar!
BUT WHAT IS LOBROW GALLERY + BAR??????
Joining the colourful Canberra bar scene Lobrow serves up excitng fresh cocktails and craft beers with a healthy dose of local culture.
The new lofty part gallery, part performance space aims to steer away from the sterile white room, wine drinking, cheese eating stigma of the arts glitterati.
Rather, the exhibition launches are a continued celebration of local, independent and ‘low-brow’ arts with a twist!
The space will showcase live performance from some of the regions most sought after musicans keeping the focus on locally managed and independent record label musicians.
Drawing people in from all walks of life.
It’s nice to have your cake and eat it too, so we’ve spread the launch weekend over two nights.
